You are in the archeological area where the Colosseum, Domus aurea, Arco di Costantino, and the Roman Forum are. Also, in this street there is the beautiful Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, famous because of its important pieces of art and for the relics of Jesus’ cross and of his thorn crown located here. A 10 minutes walk will take you to the Colosseum, to Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano and to the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, to the Holy stairs and to the chapel of San Pietro in Vincoli, where you will be able to admire the Michelangelo’s Moses.
Metro stop Manzoni (A line) is at less of 300 mt from the apartments to connect you with all the sights if you do not feel like walking: Spanish stairs, with its elegant Via Dei Condotti, the gorgeous view from Trinità dei Monti, Piazza del Popolo and the nearby via del Corso and Fontana di Trevi. You can also reach San Peter’s Basel and Vatican museums with this metro line at the stop Ottaviano.
